S Tier — Best Stands

These are the stands dominating the meta. If you can get one of these, use it.

White Snake

White Snake is the best all-around stand in Bizarre Lineage right now. It does everything well: strong single-target damage, good AoE, solid crowd control, and enough range to punish players who try to stay out of melee. The discs mechanic adds a layer of mind games that makes it especially lethal in PvP — stealing a player’s stand disc mid-fight is one of the most punishing abilities in the game.

In PvE, White Snake clears mobs efficiently and does not require complicated setups to deal good damage. If you are looking for one stand to carry you through both game modes from mid to late game, this is the pick. Its main downside is that it takes practice to use at a high level. Once you understand the disc system, though, it is nearly impossible to counter.

Made in Heaven

Made in Heaven is the top PvP stand in the game. Its speed acceleration passive makes it the fastest stand available, which means you can close gaps, escape bad situations, and chase runners all in the same fight. The time acceleration mechanic also lets Made in Heaven dish out damage faster than most opponents can react to.

The tradeoff is that Made in Heaven is harder to use in PvE because its kit is designed around chasing and burst windows rather than sustained AoE. Skilled players can make it work everywhere, but for pure grinding it falls slightly behind White Snake and C-Moon.

C-Moon

C-Moon is White Snake’s evolution and the best grinding stand in the game. Graviton Reversal completely changes the battlefield — it launches enemies into the air, deals solid damage, and creates openings for full combo extensions. Combined with wide AoE coverage, C-Moon clears raid groups and world event mobs faster than almost anything else.

In PvP, C-Moon is strong but requires more setup than Made in Heaven. The gravity flip is powerful when it connects, but experienced players know how to dodge it. Still, C-Moon is the best stand in the game for anyone who splits time between PvP and PvE content.

Weather Report

Weather Report earns its S placement on the strength of its AoE. Heavy Weather and Ice Nova together cover huge areas, deal real damage, and make it exceptional for quest grinding, raids, and anything involving multiple targets. The combo extension potential is also high for players who put in the time to learn the move sequences.

In PvP, Weather Report is more of an A-tier pick. Its AoE makes it tough to fight in confined spaces, but skilled solo players can dodge the big moves. Where Weather Report truly shines is when you are grinding with a group or clearing content that throws waves of enemies at you.

A Tier — Excellent Picks

A tier stands are strong in the right hands. They are not quite at the top of the meta, but they can absolutely carry you through endgame content and hold their own in PvP.

The World

The World is one of the most iconic stands in JoJo and in Bizarre Lineage it delivers. Time Stop is a guaranteed combo window — land it, deal your burst, and the opponent has no answer. The damage output during Time Stop is among the highest single-target damage in the game.

The reason The World sits in A rather than S is that Time Stop has a cooldown, and when you are not in the stop window, the stand’s kit is more limited than White Snake or Made in Heaven. High-tier PvP players will bait the Time Stop and punish you around it. That said, for most players The World is an S-tier experience.

King Crimson

King Crimson rewards players who read fights well. Time Erase lets you dodge incoming attacks and reposition for free, which makes it extremely frustrating to fight against. Epitaph adds a prediction mechanic that counters players who are predictable with their combos.

The ceiling on King Crimson is high, but so is the floor of skill it demands. You have to play proactively, predict movements, and convert your openings fast. Players who put in the practice get some of the best PvP results in the game with King Crimson.

The World High Voltage

The World High Voltage is a variant that trades some of The World’s classic burst potential for electric damage and faster attack speed during Time Stop. The lightning damage moves add combo routes that standard The World does not have, making it more consistent even outside the stop window.

It is a solid alternative if you prefer a more active playstyle rather than purely banking on Time Stop cooldowns.

Stone Free

Stone Free brings a mix of melee pressure, string-based projectiles, and solid mobility. The stand excels at creating knockback situations that you can extend into full combos. In PvP it has better neutral game than most A-tier stands, and the string moves give you tools to fight at range when needed.

Stone Free is not as flashy as King Crimson or The World, but it is one of the more consistent stands in the game. Good for players who want reliable pressure over high-risk high-reward mechanics.

B Tier — Solid Choices

B tier stands are viable throughout the game and will carry you through most content, especially earlier on. They have real weaknesses in the current meta, but they are far from bad picks.

Star Platinum

Star Platinum is a fan favorite and still performs well. Ora rush and Star Finger deliver strong burst windows, and The World variant remains one of the most satisfying stand combos in any JoJo game. The problem is that in Bizarre Lineage’s current meta, Star Platinum’s kit does not offer the mobility or AoE that S and A tier stands bring.

In PvP, Star Platinum is a strong melee fighter that wins prolonged brawls. In PvE it clears fine but requires you to be close to targets the whole time.

Killer Queen

Killer Queen’s bomb mechanics make it a ranged threat that most opponents have to respect. Sheer Heart Attack provides passive pressure, and the primary hand bomb adds burst damage from a distance. Its AoE covers a decent radius.

The issue is that Killer Queen’s single-target damage is low without landing full bomb setups, and experienced players know to avoid the predictable activation ranges. Still a fun and functional B-tier pick for players who like ranged playstyles.

Magician’s Red

Magician’s Red is a solid early-to-mid-game stand that stays functional throughout the game. The fire moves deal reliable damage and have decent range. It is one of the easier stands to learn in the game, which makes it a good option while you work toward rarer rolls.

At B tier, Magician’s Red gets outclassed by the stands above it in both damage ceiling and mechanics, but it never feels completely outmatched either.

Anubis

Anubis is a melee-heavy stand that rewards aggressive, close-range playstyles. Its slash combos do solid damage when they connect. The limitation is that Anubis has almost no ranged tools, which makes it easy to kite. Players who can close the gap consistently will find more value here than players who prefer a balanced approach.

C Tier — Average

These stands are playable but start to show real limitations when you hit the endgame or go up against meta picks in PvP.

Golden Experience

Golden Experience has a healing mechanic that helps in PvE survival, especially early on. The problem is that its damage output is notably lower than other stands in its rarity range. In PvP, the healing does not offset how easy it is to get outnumbered in pressure scenarios. Golden Experience is a decent learner stand but gets left behind once you have better options.

Crazy Diamond

Crazy Diamond has a repair mechanic that is more of a gimmick than a practical advantage in PvP. Its damage is on the lower end, and its toolkit lacks the mobility or combo extensions that higher-tier stands bring. Fine for early game, rough to rely on in late-game content.

Purple Haze

Purple Haze’s poison mechanic sounds threatening on paper but in practice the damage-over-time is easy to outrun and heal through. Its direct damage is low and the moveset does not offer strong combo tools. Purple Haze needs a rework to compete with current-meta stands.

D Tier — Below Average

The Hand

The Hand’s erase mechanic is interesting but too situational to compete in the current meta. The actual combat damage is low and the move cooldowns are long. It can pull off surprise plays in PvP occasionally, but you will lose more fights than you win running The Hand against meta stands.

Red Hot Chili Pepper

Red Hot Chili Pepper has electric moves that look cool but underdeliver on damage. It lacks the burst potential needed for PvP, and for PvE its AoE is not wide enough to compete with Weather Report or C-Moon. The current version of RHCP needs significant buffs to be worth rolling.

F Tier — Avoid

No stands are currently hard-stuck in F tier in Bizarre Lineage’s meta. The game has done a decent job keeping most stands functional, even if they vary significantly in ceiling. D tier is where we would put the hardest passes for now.

Best Stands for PvP

If you are playing Bizarre Lineage primarily for PvP, these are the stands to target:

  1. Made in Heaven — The fastest stand in the game. Unmatched mobility for chasing and escaping. Speed acceleration makes you nearly impossible to run away from in extended fights.
  2. The World — Time Stop guarantees burst windows that most opponents cannot counter. High single-target damage.
  3. King Crimson — Time Erase makes you near-unpunishable in the hands of a skilled player. Epitaph rewards players who read opponents correctly.
  4. White Snake — Balanced toolkit with stand disc stealing that punishes opponents in unique ways. Strong neutral game for sustained fights.
  5. Stone Free — Consistent pressure with knockback and string tools. Good for players who want reliable neutral rather than high-risk mechanics.

PvP at the highest level usually comes down to White Snake, Made in Heaven, and King Crimson. The World is popular at mid-range skill levels because Time Stop is a strong equalizer.

Best Stands for Grinding

For quest grinding, raids, and farming EXP and drops, these stands stand out:

  1. C-Moon — Best AoE crowd control in the game. Graviton Reversal clears mob groups faster than anything else. First choice for raids and world events.
  2. Weather Report — Heavy Weather and Ice Nova cover huge areas and deal sustained damage. Exceptional for multi-target content.
  3. White Snake — Versatile enough to handle both grinding and PvP. The AoE is good and the damage is consistent.
  4. Killer Queen — Sheer Heart Attack provides passive damage while you focus on positioning. Decent for farming content where you need to manage multiple targets at different ranges.
  5. Magician’s Red — Easy to use and reliable for early-to-mid-game grinding. A good pick while you work toward S-tier rolls.

For pure grinding efficiency, C-Moon and Weather Report are in a league of their own. If you have either, use them for all farming content.

Beginner-Friendly Picks

If you are new to Bizarre Lineage, avoid diving straight into complex stands like King Crimson or Made in Heaven. These are the best picks for learning the game:

Weather Report is the best starting stand for new players. The AoE moves are easy to land, the damage is real, and the stand teaches you about positioning without punishing mistakes too hard. It stays relevant in A/S tier discussions even for experienced players.

Killer Queen is another good early pick because it forces you to learn ranged play and cooldown management without requiring tight execution to deal damage. Sheer Heart Attack does work on its own.

Magician’s Red is the most forgiving stand in B tier. The fire moves are easy to understand, the range is decent, and you will not get completely stomped while you are still learning combos.

Golden Experience is also approachable early on because the healing gives you a safety net when you make mistakes in PvE. Just know you will want to upgrade once you hit mid-game.

Once you have a handle on how the combat system works, aim for White Snake or C-Moon as your first real grind toward a top-tier stand.

FAQ

What is the best stand in Bizarre Lineage right now? White Snake is the best all-around stand. For pure PvP, Made in Heaven edges it out. For grinding, C-Moon takes the top spot.

How do I get a new stand in Bizarre Lineage? Use arrows or Rokas to roll for stands. Higher rarity stands have lower drop rates. Save arrows for events that boost drop rates when they run. Check our Bizarre Lineage Codes for free arrows from active codes.

How often does the meta change in Bizarre Lineage? Major patches land roughly every two to four weeks. Stands can move up or down tiers with a single balance change, so check back regularly.

Does rarity equal strength? Not always. Some B-tier stands like Killer Queen have decent rarity but underperform against the meta. Some A-tier stands are harder to roll than S-tier picks. Use this tier list rather than rarity alone to make decisions.

What sub-ability should I use? Vampire is the best sub-ability in the game. Lifesteal and stun control improve both your PvP survivability and your PvE sustain. Run it whenever possible.

Can I trade stands in Bizarre Lineage? Yes, the in-game trading system lets you exchange stands with other players. Research the trade values for your stand before accepting deals — some common stands are surprisingly valuable, and some rares are worth less than you would expect.
