RobloxDrop is a free content website that publishes guides, codes, tier lists, and news related to Roblox gaming. We are committed to data minimization and only collect the minimum information necessary to operate and improve the site. We do not require user accounts or logins, and we do not sell, rent, or share personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Information We Collect

RobloxDrop collects limited, mostly anonymized data through the following channels:

  • Analytics data — We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors interact with our site. GA4 collects anonymized data such as page views, session duration, approximate geographic region, device type, browser type, and referral sources. IP addresses are anonymized by default in GA4.
  • Server logs — Our hosting provider (Vercel) automatically records standard server logs, which may include IP addresses, request timestamps, requested URLs, HTTP status codes, and user agent strings. These logs are used for security monitoring and debugging purposes.
  • Local storage — We store a language preference value (rdLangChoice) in your browser’s localStorage when you switch between English, Portuguese, and Spanish versions of the site. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to any server.
  • Cookie consent preference — We store your cookie consent choice (rd_cookie_consent) in localStorage so we remember whether you accepted or rejected tracking cookies. This value never leaves your device.
  • PWA install preference — We store a dismissal flag (rd_pwa_install_dismissed) in localStorage if you dismiss the app install banner. This also remains on your device only.

We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or any other personally identifiable information through normal site usage.

Cookies and Tracking

RobloxDrop uses a cookie consent banner that appears on your first visit. No analytics or advertising cookies are set until you explicitly accept. You can change your preference at any time by clearing your browser’s localStorage (key: rd_cookie_consent).

If you accept cookies, the following tracking technologies are activated:

  • Google Analytics 4 — Sets cookies such as _ga and _ga_* to measure site traffic and content performance.

Children’s Privacy

RobloxDrop provides informational content about Roblox, a platform popular with younger audiences. However, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13.

Our site does not require registration, user accounts, or the submission of any personal data to access content. The analytics data collected is anonymized and aggregated and does not identify individual users, including children.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child has somehow provided personal information through our site, please contact us through our Contact page and we will take steps to remove that information.

We strive to comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar regulations in other jurisdictions.

Data Retention

  • Google Analytics data — Retained according to our GA4 property settings (default retention period of 14 months). After this period, individual-level data is automatically deleted by Google.
  • Server logs — Vercel retains server logs according to their data retention policies, typically for a limited period used for operational and security purposes.
  • Local storage data — Data stored in your browser’s localStorage persists until you manually clear it through your browser settings.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your data:

  • Opt out of analytics — You can disable Google Analytics tracking using the methods described in the “Cookies and Tracking” section above.
  • Clear local data — You can clear localStorage and cookies at any time through your browser settings.
  • Access and deletion — Since we do not collect personally identifiable information through normal site usage, there is generally no personal data to access or delete. If you have contacted us via email and wish to have that correspondence deleted, please reach out through our Contact page.
  • Do Not Track — We respect browser Do Not Track signals where technically feasible.

International Users

RobloxDrop is accessible to users worldwide. Our site is hosted on Vercel, which uses a global edge network with servers located in multiple countries, including the United States. By using our site, you acknowledge that the limited analytics data collected may be processed in the United States and other countries where Google and Vercel operate infrastructure.

We do not transfer personally identifiable information across borders, as we do not collect such information through normal site usage.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. When we make changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
